Weird day. Not that windy when I got there, so after some debate rigged 5m, however as soon as I was ready to go out people were changing down.
Went out anyway, was ok on the inside but way too much further out. Had a couple of runs and decided to change down or I would break something.
Put up 4.2, but from then on it was a struggle. Wind picked up even more but still very gusty. Its either me, or the sail but I was never comfortable, either masses of power or nothing. I guess sail is getting old, past its 10th birthday but I think it was me as well. I'm not good when the weather is a bit mental, especially in the winter, do all the things I know are wrong.
Noticed most people haveing trouble with gustiness of the wind, I guess we should have been at S beach for the wind but the waves would have been mental. The one exception was Scott, he must have a motor under that board he never seems to find any lulls!! Different league.
